Just a reminder to check the calendar for all the great judo events coming up soon.
On Sunday, October 21, TriValley Judo in Pleasanton will be hosting an open mat for juniors age 6-14. There is no fee.
Also on that Sunday, and every Sunday, there is an open workout with Master CJ Lee at Do Martial Arts in Castro Valley. Come get a great workout with a former South Korean judo champion and local black belts from UC Berkeley, Stanford, and everywhere in between.
The next weekend there are two events. On Saturday the 27th, the Fukuda Kata Championships will be held at the City College of San Francisco. The day after, it’s the Hanabi Halloween Classic in Albany.
Next month it’s more great judo events with the Palo Alto tournament and the CCSF tournament being held on consecutive weekends.
Of interest to referees, the day before the Palo Alto tournament there will be a clinic and testing for both regional and national level referees.
The day before the CCSF tournament, Cenco will be holding our fall promotional exam!
As always check the calendar for all the details on these great events. Thanks to everyone in the Bay Area and Northern California judo community for your effort in organizing these great events.
