This coming Friday night we will be having a special practice at Silicon Valley Judo. We will be hosting the SJSU Judo Team’s Fundraiser clinic during our Adults Class.
These students fought hard and emerged as the best collegiate Judo players in the country and were given the opportunity to represent our country in the World University Games which is being held at the beginning of July. Unfortunately, there is no national funding for our athletes and so they will have to find a way to pay for this rare opportunity themselves. We are holding this fundraiser to give everyone in the community a chance to help them out in their Judo journey.
The clinic is meant for students who are 11 years old and up. They’ll have the opportunity to work with and learn from these elite athletes as well as their Coach, Tanaka-Sensei, who has been a major All-Japan Championship contender as well.
