In order to make the tournament a success, we are asking for table helpers, pool runners, and other volunteer support. The competition is scheduled to start at noon, so helping could be a half-day commitment, and volunteers could start after the Saturday judo class.

The Battle for the Star Judo Tournament, hosted by Makimoto PAL, will be held February 26th at Vacaville High School. Let’s all go and make this event a success!

Exhibition match of Imamura Sensei
The 2016 Fresno Judo Tournament and 2016 Haruo Imamura College Cup will be October 23, 2016 at Washington Union High School.
Fresno Judo will be hosting a Nanka Shorai Training at Fresno Judo Club 3342 W. Sussex Way, Fresno CA 93722 on Oct 22, 2016 from 1 to 4 PM. They are expecting several clubs from Nanka and a few clubs from Northern California to participate.
You can pre-weigh in at the Shorai training on Saturday or email your satellite weigh ins by Thursday October 20th with which tournament, name, male/female, age weight and rank. If you are competing in more than one division that requires 2 entry forms and 2 fees. Any questions please get in touch with Larry Tsutsui at 559-284-5481.

The Capitol Open will be held Sunday, October 2nd, 2016 at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, hosted by Sacramento Judo Club and Hokka Yudanshakai.
There will also be a kata competition! With divisions for Nage-No-Kata and Katame-No-Kata.
Referee meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. New referees are welcome.
