New Rules Seminar with Gary Takemoto

Gary Takemoto returns to the Bay Area for a Coaches Seminar on January 14th at Chuck Jefferson Judo.  This  will be his first stop after he returns from  Baku, Azerbaijan where the coaches and referees for the IJF will be educated on the new rules.

This is  a great opportunity to get all the right information to our community from our country’s best source on judo rules.

This is also a way for anyone to get certified with USA Judo for mat side coaching.

  • Coaches: Learn how Referees are being guided and prepare your athletes accordingly
  • Competitors: Learn how you can seek ethical advantages and avoid surprises on the mat

  • Participants may bring their own lunch or elect to join an order for sandwiches which will be organized when the clinic starts.
  • Dress code is business casual: polo shirt and slacks, no sweats, no short pants, no gym gear.  Attendees may want to have a gi in their car just in case, but we expect few if any will be asked to suit up with a gi.
