Dear Cenco Member
Mr. Yosh Uchida has extended an invitation to Cenco clubs to participate in the Friday evening (5:30-7:30) open practice at Yosh Uchida Hall dojo.
For young students, we recommend age 13 and older, at least orange/green belt, but please use your discretion.
He is also asking Cenco club instructors to attend to learn teaching techniques from the SJSU instructors, such as Mike Swain, Kosuke Tanaka and Toni Lettner.
Hope you will take advantage of this offer from Mr. Uchida and the San Jose State University Judo Team. Mr. Uchida has said that no fee is required. Please make sure your Judo membership is current before you attend.
Take a listen to this great interview with Olympic Bronze medalist and World Championship Silver medalist Marti Malloy! You’ll hear about Marti’s early years and how she got started in judo, her competition years and what she’s up to now.
