The proceeds benefit the Kikuchi Scholarship Fund, which is awarded annually to deserving graduating high school students of the San Jose Buddhist Judo Club who meet the requirements and are continuing their education at a trade school, college, or university. It is named in honor of and in appreciation for Don “Moon” Kikuchi who was head instructor of the San Jose Buddhist Judo Club for over 40 years. His son, Danny Kikuchi, along with numerous other dedicated sensei, continue to develop and mentor students in the sport of Judo. Please visit www.sjbjudo.org for more information on the SJB Judo Club.
Please note that this year the no host awards lunch which follows the golf tournament will be at a new location, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, 10690 North De Anza Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014 (408) 865-6970.
Attached is the flyer with all the details. We would appreciate an early response for golf and lunch reservations as we need to meet our 72 for the golf “shotgun” start, and to reserve enough space and food to accommodate us for lunch.
Hope to see you all at the golf tournament!
